In order to join the Insight bus tour we had to relocate to a different hotel which left us without free wifi for a period. Hence the deluge of catch up blogs. I suppose we could have paid for internet access, but 7 euro for 1 hour just seemed too steep!
Yesterday we practiced for the bus tour by spending half a day on one of the 'hop on, hop off' buses in central Paris. The bus was an open top double decker, good views from the top but chilly (it was a cold day with rain at times.) It was quite a good way to see the sights and get a feel for the layout of the city. Of course it was also quite friendly for sore ankles if one avoided too much of the 'hop on, hop off'.
The Insight tour looks like it will be well organised and cover a lot of ground. Tomorrow is mostly a wine day as we go through the Champagne region. Sadly J can't drink wine with her ankle meds so will be strictly taste and spit.
