Paris at last

Here we are at last in Paris. We arrived this morning after lengthy anticipation and a verrry long journey of about 36 hours door to door. But no ill effects yet apart from being tired. The hotel is our "old favourite" (that is we stayed here once before) near the Mauborg metro and almost next door to Invalides

Paris is great, even through rather bleary eyes. We have met up with A & S and went to a one man live show "How to become Parisian in 1 hour" - a takeoff on the legendary rudeness of Parisians. I have to say we have found the reality quite different in almost every case but it was a very funny show (and occasionally educational.)

But the priority right now is sleep!
